From the Classroom to Creation
I’m a 27-year veteran teacher who has always believed in the power of making things with your hands. Long before I ever sold jewelry, I was creating wearables with a purpose.
My journey began at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, where I knitted soft beanies for children battling cancer — small gifts of warmth, comfort, and care. That experience showed me how something handmade can carry so much love.
From there, I started making beaded lanyards for fellow teachers, blending color, function, and creativity into everyday wear. What began as a simple way to bring beauty into the classroom slowly grew into something more.
Today, I create handmade jewelry using beads and polymer clay, each piece designed to be worn and loved. I also continue to craft hand-knitted blankets from jumbo yarn, because there is something deeply meaningful about wrapping someone in something made by hand.
Every piece I create — from a bold necklace to a cozy blanket — is rooted in that same purpose:
to make beautiful things that bring comfort, connection, and joy.
Welcome to my world of wearables.
